The CHP Community Outreach Committee is excited to announce the completion of its first project: “A Tour Through Historic Carthage, Missouri” - a fun and informative coloring book for all ages!
This project began with a committee discussion about how to better educate and engage young people with the people and places that make Carthage so special. The result is a coloring book showcasing Carthage’s rich history and beautiful architecture, with the goal of providing a free copy to every 7th grader now and in the future.
Why 7th graders? Because Carthage history is part
of the 7th-grade curriculum.
Cost is $12 (cash or check payable to CHP).
All proceeds help fund future free coloring books
for Carthage 7th grade students.
Coloring books are available for purchase at: Carthage/Boots Visitor Center
Carthage Chamber of Commerce
Carthage Public Library
Jasper County Courthouse (County Clerk's office)
