WHY HISTORIC PRESERVATION MATTERS TO CARTHAGE

The mission of Carthage Historic Preservation is to advocate for historic preservation at the local, state, and national levels, to demonstrate period-appropriate historic preservation techniques, and to educate our community about the economic, ecological, and cultural benefits of

historic preservation.

In collaboration with Vision Carthage, CHP is creating a lasting tribute to recognize the men and women who have proudly worn our nation’s uniform. Share their story and help us celebrate the heroes who have shaped our community and protected our freedom.

CHP is often asked for assistance in finding someone who can help with repairs or renovation of an historic home or building.

 

We are looking for individuals and companies who appreciate the vision of an original builder and who understand the challenges and rewards of preserving a historic building. To that end, CHP is creating a RESOURCE LIST of skilled professionals experienced in working on historic homes and buildings. ​

If you or someone you know would like to be on this RESOURCE LIST, please complete the application form.
