Tour the Historic Phelps House
The Historic Phelps House represents Victorian architecture and turn of the century residential living. The exterior showcases traditional Carthage Marble, a gray limestone mined outside of town. The Phelps Family moved into the home in 1895 and 2020 marks 125 years in Carthage. A tour of the Phelps House explores one of the early residences in Carthage where you will discover amazing ingenuity and hear a few pieces of the Phelps family history.
