CHP would like to thank everyone who helped to make our 2024 Homes Tour and Tea a great success:

A special thank you to the wonderful homeowners who so graciously opened their lovely homes for the 2024 Holiday Homes Tour: Lynn and Don Campbell, Betsy and Bren Flanigan, Steve Lingenfelter, Crystal and Ron Stiles, Beth and Ed Streich, and Elizabeth and Joel Wallsmith. We greatly appreciate your support.

Thank you to all the tour volunteers who made this event possible. With welcoming smiles, our volunteers greeted over 475 guests throughout the day. We truly could not hold this event without our wonderful volunteers!

The mission of Carthage Historic Preservation is to advocate for historic preservation at the local, state, and national levels, to demonstrate period-appropriate historic preservation techniques, and to educate our community about the economic, ecological, and cultural benefits of

historic preservation.

CHP is often asked for assistance in finding someone who can help with repairs or renovation of an historic home or building. We are looking for individuals and companies who appreciate the vision of an original builder and who understand the challenges and rewards of preserving a historic building. To that end, CHP is creating a RESOURCE LIST of skilled professionals experienced in working on historic homes and buildings.
